Stressed? Tense? Tightly wound? Yes, yes, and yes! I sound like an infomercial right! Last year I was all the above and the tension was getting so bad I started having migraines and trouble sleeping. It was like my mind was constantly racing, and I was becoming increasingly tense. My family noticed how tightly wound I was getting and recommended I do something to relax. I went old school and I started crocheting again. Who knew making knots could be so relaxing and rewarding.

Like it or not our emotions and therefore our moods impact the way we see the world around us, the way we process and respond to information, and of course how we feel both emotionally and physically. Although I wish that changing our outfit could automatically make the world a better place, I know of course it can't, I have found that it can still go a surprisingly long way to help regulate my mood and productivity. What you do and what you wear when you start your day can have a surprising impact on the rest of your day or even week!

It’s been a while since I shared some sale picks. These days it feels like there are sales every day but I found myself checking out some of the Memorial day sale offers and found a few goodies at Nordstrom Rack, New York and Company, and Lucky Brand.

This jumpsuit is a new release from Avon. It's the Wide Leg Jumpsuit and while super comfortable, it's an effortless way to elevate your usual lounge wear work from home look. Even though its more of a summer style and it's still a bit chilly here for no sleeves, I paired it with a long sleeve top over tights. A chunky sweater will also help transition during chilly fall or spring days.

For what began as a gloomy rainy day that turned out to be a gorgeous sunny spring day. I paired these green Mercantile Chelsea Rain Boots from J. Crew with this mint green sweater from H&M, a favorite pair of black distressed jeans, and of course I never leave home without my Baus Agenda.

Recently I’ve been adding more whites to my wardrobe and this Liz Clairborne jacket was love at first sight, then love at second sight after I realized it had a hood!

In honor of International Women’s Day I was in the mood for a pop of hot pink. I recently bought this hot pink moto jacket from New York & Co & have been dying for warmer weather so I could wear it.

Dear Spring, What's keeping you? ::insert side eye::

Despite a short break in the winter weather I found myself pulling the winter coat back out of the closet this week ... again.  Winter must really be living it up because it just does not want to leave. It's okay
