International Women’s Day Pop of Pink

In honor of International Women’s Day I was in the mood for a pop of hot pink. I recently bought this hot pink moto jacket from New York & Co & have been dying for warmer weather so I could wear it. From the moment I saw it in such a lovely shade of magenta I had to have it! While the weather isn’t quite warm enough I figured it would make a cute #ootd for this weeks women’s day celebrations.

Its really soft, has a cute asymmetrical zipper, and a quilted pattern on the sides & shoulders which I thought was a nice detail that really made it stand out. Other than the details I think my favorite was that it’s machine washable! I know, its the little things that make a difference. Combine that with the sale price, under $30, I’d have to be crazy to leave it.

I pared it with this #LBD which I bought in two colors because its sooo comfy and the best part is IT HAS POCKETS!!! The second best part is that its cotton. Oh how I’ve missed cotton. It’s so good for the summer and doesn’t wrinkle easily. It was also on sale for $25. Winning! It also features a nice keyhole pleated collar which I think was a great way to amp up a simple little cotton dress so it looks like more than casual wear.

I love that NY&Co has such adorable, office appropriate, but totally wearable pieces. I admit it’s been a while since I shopped there but I was really surprised to see so many cute, comfy, cotton styles.
