Transitioning to Spring With This Burgundy Belted Coat

The weather started to warm up for a hot minute so I was able to take my new Guess asymmetrical belted walker coat out for a day. Literally just the day. By sundown I was back in my puffer coat again. Lol! But at least I got a few pics in first.

You might remember in my recent haul video I shared that I purchased this coat with a few other

winter staples but I think it's more of a seasonal transition piece. Its a light wool coat that will do okay in 35 degree weather with a sweater or layers but it won't cut it for lower temperatures. At least not for someone like me who's already always cold. On a door - to car - to door function I think it will be just fine though!

I wore these suede Marc Fisher Humor over-the-knee boots in the warm taupe color which are now on sale at Macys, a pair of black jeans from J. Brand, a soft pink sweater from New York and Co. (similar here), the I've Been Framed Satchel and Cool Cat sunglasses from my black Friday haul post, plus jewelry and makeup as usual. I was so excited to find that this coat compliments one of my favorite lipstick shades Superb Wine.

These earrings are the Breast Cancer Crusade earrings which are still available so be sure to grab a pair for yourself and a friend or two because 20% of the proceeds from each sale go to Breast Cancer Crusade programs.
