Get The Look For Less - French Connection Dress

The other day I was browsing through the Nordstrom collection, adding a few items to my Coveted List, and I came across the French Connection Lace Panel Fit and Flare Dress (above left). 

At first I look I thought "Hey! I know that dress"! It took me a minute to remember where I had seen

something similar. Then I remembered that it was an item a customer ordered from Avon. The Laser-Cut Little Black Dress (above right). After comparing I realized that there was a difference in the type of sleeve and the laser cut pattern is a little different. 

Also, the French Connection dress was originally listed at $158 but has recently been discounted to $94.80 while the Avon dress is currently listed at $34.99. Personally, After comparing the two, the Dry Clean Only description on the French Connection dress was enough to turn me off. After reviewing the Avon dress a second time I decided that I might copp it after all.

What do you think? Are the differences enough to splurge on the French Connection Dress or would you rather get the look for less with the Avon version?
