Bare Necessities with Skin So Soft Hair Removal Cream
Summer has unofficially begun and the warm weather means my legs can come out from under layers of stockings, tights, and pants to get some sun! It also means that there’s absolutely no getting away with hairy legs. But, if you’re like me and you hate shaving, painful waxing, plucking, threading, or expensive laser treatments let me share one of my bare necessities, Avon Skin So Soft Fresh & Smooth Sensitive Skin Hair Removal Cream. Its hands down my favorite way to remove body hair and one of my beauty care staples.
Fresh & Smooth Hair removal Cream is a staple of my medicine cabinet and has made my life so much easier. I always make sure that I have a couple of tubes in stock. It’s gentle, it doesn’t smell as harsh as other hair removal creams, it’s quick and easy to use and it’s PAIN FREE people!
Pain Free.
Before I discovered Fresh and Smooth I tried everything. Razor blades cut sometimes which on my skin means additional scars, plus they sometimes (read “almost always”) give awful razor burn or bumps.
Waxing, plucking and threading I think began as a forms of torture. Just think about it, ripping the hair out of your skin whether in in long strips or one at a time. Torture! Why do we do these things to ourselves?
Not only is it painful but it can be messy and time consuming. No matter how much they say “for sensitive skin” or “pain free” it NEVER is.
I also spent (and I’m a little ashamed to say this) thousands of dollars on electric hair removal procedures promising to completely remove hair or minimize its appearance to barely noticeable. Guess what my results were…
Barely noticeable.
In the end, I still needed another method for removing hair in between treatments and even after. I had family members that used other popular brands of hair removal creams. You always knew when they were using them too because the smell was so strong. But, I tried those first and found the chemical smell was too unpleasant. It sometimes stayed with me into the next day. I didn’t want to smell like hair removal cream when I went out so I moved on to try the other methods above. Then I noticed that I had a few customers who consistently bought the Avon Fresh and Smooth creams and I decided to give it a try. I honestly don’t know why it took me so long. I’m so glad that I did!
I guess I assumed all the hair removal creams were the same. But, the first thing I noticed was that Fresh & Smooth Sensitive Skin Hair Removal Cream had a much lighter fragrance and was more gentle on my skin. I’ve been hooked ever since.
Skin so Soft Fresh and Smooth hair removal creams are available in both facial hair removal and body hair removal creams. The facial hair cream comes in a pen sized tube with a slanted tip to make the application more precise. I love that it helps keep your hands clean. I do use my hands when applying the body cream but I usually use it at the start of my shower routine so I don’t mind it on my hands as much.
To use I just slather the cream on and let it sit. While I wait I usually do the other steps of my routine like washing my face, brushing my teeth, etc. so it doesn’t add any extra time to my routine. When ready I just wash it off in the shower and step out ready for leg weather!
I can’t get through the spring and summer without my Fresh & Smooth Sensitive Skin Hair Removal Cream and I believe my legs are grateful for it.
Have you tried Fresh and Smooth? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Leave me a comment below!
