#AvonRepfest16 Day 1

Here we are at the end of Day 1 of #AvonRepFest16, the 3 day, 130 year Avon Anniversary celebration of Avon representatives from all over the U.S. This year's conference is held in "Vegas Baby"!

As I mentioned, this is my 4th Avon conference and this event holds special meaning to me because

my first conference was also held in Las Vegas. I had such a great time at that event and left feeling so inspired that I made the decision to never miss another Avon Conference. You might remember me writing about last years conference in Orlando, Florida and my anticipation of all the freebies we would receive in my Mega Haul Recap post last week.

So far I have not been disappointed.

This year I arrived on the same day that conference began. We dove right into development classes and workshops held by experts alongside leading representatives.

I always love hearing stories from other representatives who built successful businesses because it's so inspiring. Despite the occasional fangirling when meeting leaders who I've seen receive recognition for their success, I keep reminding myself that they were once where I am now.

So, If they could make it I can as well.

I took a brief moment between classes to work behind the scenes with Avon on something I hope we all will get a chance to see soon. But #Spoilers. Moving on...

We followed the classes with a happy hour celebration in the Product Expo (more on ALL the good stuff later), where we got to continue with one of my favorite parts of RepFest - reconnecting with old friends & meeting social media friends in person. We had a great time looking at all the awesome new products rolling out for fourth quarter and an impromptu dance party.

To wrap up the night, I had the pleasure of being invited to join a group of representatives for a dinner with Christina Lamb author of "I Am Malala"I was so honored & humbled to be able to participate in that event. To meet and spend time with those other representatives, sharing ideas and encouragement like we had known each other for years.  Plus, as always, the food was delicious!

Day one wasn't even a full day and I could feel the sparks igniting inside my head and my heart to make experiences like these a more regular part of my life. I smiled so much my cheeks felt tingly that night.

And no. I was not using my Anew Cleansing Brush for too long ... again.
