I Can’t Believe I’m A 2019 Avon Pinnacle Award Recipient!

I’m so excited and grateful I feel like my heart is cutting off circulation to my lungs every time I think about this. It hasn’t really sunk in that last year I was among the top 5 Avon representatives in the Nation for anything, but in this particular case Direct Delivery Sales Increase.

This is the first time I ever received a Pinnacle Award! It’s the beautiful pyramid shaped crystal award. Avon mailed them out to us with little applause noisemakers inside to cheer for us when we opened the packages. A small detail that totally made the moment!

I also received 3 lovely crystal awards for top sales in the Eastern Division. I’m so thankful for my amazing customers for your love and support. Just a few people know that 2019 was a difficult year because we lost our home to a fire and to be honest my focus was elsewhere. I never imagined that I would ever receive an Avon Pinnacle award, and certainly not in this of all years. But, I’m so grateful that “God’s plans are higher than our plans” and sometimes when we feel overwhelmed He comes through and does things we could never imagine, plan, or take credit for.

So, for me these awards are more than just trophies or mementos of an achievement. They’re little reminders.

A reminder to believe that those lyrics that say “God will make a way when there seems to be no way” are more than just words to a song.

A reminder to praise regardless of how bleak the situation looks.

A reminder to laugh because I remember when I joined Avon, I asked the coach to skip over the parts about top seller perks because I thought I would never sell over $10,000.

I hope that for someone else they can also be a reminder to unleash your imagination, believe that “impossible” is possible, and that the lyrics to the songs we sing are more than just words.
