First, let me say that my days of blending, whipping, and DIY-ing my natural hair care products have THANKFULLY come to an end!

Second, I will never look at “Beeswax” the same way again.

In this video I’m unboxing a new Hair Serum that I’m so excited about from a new Avon product line called Elastine PropoliThera. PropoliThera features natural ingredients from bees like beeswax, honey and royal jelly to moisturize, strengthen, and protect our beautiful locks.

If you’re like me, when you hear beeswax and honey you might have imagined sticky, cakey, stiff gunky stuff. Have you ever done a honey or molasses hair mask before?

I have. It’s really some messy stuff!

But PropoliThera is none of that!

It’s a super lightweight serum that isn’t sticky, cakey, pasty or icky at all. It’s amazing and I’m so in love!

I’ve always struggled with dry damaged ends and my naturally curly hair calls for added TLC. So the benefit of this treatment that stood out to me the most was the split end repair.

You see the name PropoliThera comes from the name of the sap and beeswax combo called Propolis. Its high vitamin and mineral content also includes amino acids and antioxidants to help restore hair that’s weak or brittle. ie. breaking - the bane of our existence for those of us who are trying to retain length.

The honey also helps lock in moisture which is also crucial in minimizing dryness and breakage.

Another key ingredient is royal jelly which is the bee food that I mentioned in the video. It sounds luxurious right?

Well, it should because royal jelly is what helps restore your hair’s natural luster and shine. It’s what helps your locks look so healthy and luxurious.

We all love immediate results and when I started using PropoliThera I started getting compliments from people who noticed how shiny and healthy my hair looked. Could you see the shine in the video?

But let me tell you. All shine is NOT created equal.

One of the things I love most about PropoliThera is how light-weight it is. More than being a thin liquid, it absorbs really well and didn’t weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy or oily. It’s paraben-free, sulfate-free, and doesn’t contain any mineral oil.

I’m always amazed by Avon “oils” that don’t feel oily at all!

PropoliThera is definitely going to become a permanent part of my hair care regimen. I continued using it regularly after this video and the results are so exciting. I also ordered the hair mask so I’ll be sure to post a new video sharing how I incorporate the PropoliThera line into my other hair treatments.
