LG Electronics Come To Avon With The LG Tone Free FP8 Earbuds
For over a century Avon, (now named The Avon Company in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico) has been known for cutting out the middle man to deliver great quality products to consumers at affordable prices through their women-led army of direct sellers - Avon representatives. Now LG is adding electronics to the Avon lineup and continuing to offer the same great savings. Introducing the 1st of what I believe will be many new electronic products available through Avon, the LG Tone Free PF8 Earbuds. Available exclusively for $40 less through Avon representatives at $139.99 while all other retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, etc. will be selling for the full retail price of $179.99.
It really does pay to shop small.
Plusl, if you decide to become an Avon x LG representative you can get an additional 20% off on electronics, 25% on beauty, plus more savings!
So let’s get into the features of the new LG Tone Free FP8 earbuds.
Comfortable, innovative, and offer great sound.
You’re probably aware that the world of wireless earbuds is an expansive one, filled with options for every budget, purpose, and style. It can be hard to know where to start. So to help you choose, I look for 3 things - for me the best wireless earbuds are comfortable, innovative, and offer great sound.
The LG Tone Free FP8 earbuds use Meridian technology to give crystal clear sound for you, 3 microphones for better sound quality, echo cancelation, and noise reduction for those you’re talking to. It also has Active noise cancelation to help you block out unwanted noise even when you’re not listening to any music or calls. (this came in handy on an extra noisy flight I had recently).
With the FP8 and the TONE Free app, you can even choose the level of noise cancelation as well as the type of ambient sound you want to block out so you can still hear whats happening around you if you’re out for a walk or run (listening Mode), or you can choose to hear voices more clearly (Conversation Mode).
What Is ANC?
If you're interested in noise-canceling technology, it's important to understand how it works. First of all, the acronym ANC stands for active noise cancellation. In essence, ANC is the process of removing unwanted sound from the environment by generating a sound wave exactly out of phase with the original sound.
In theory, noise-canceling headphones take any external noise and use it to create an "anti-noise" signal that cancels out the external noise so that only what you want to hear reaches your ears. This technology is used primarily in very noisy environments such as airplanes and subways where reducing unwanted background noise can be crucial for productivity or comfort. While this technology does work well for certain situations when used properly, there are still many caveats for everyday use in regular headphones.
The Best Ways to Charge Your Headphones
The best charges come from USB-C. The Tone Free FP8 comes with a USB-C charging case which also kills 99.9% of bacteria on the speaker mesh while connected to a power cable.
As previously mentioned, the Tone Free FP8 earbuds can be charged using the included charging case and a standard USB-C cable. The cable plugs into a port at the back of the case. A full charge for the earbuds takes approximately 5 minutes so you can get going again with minimal charging time.
I use them all day for work (if you catch my Get Ready With Me live streams on my facebook page you’ll see that I’ve replaced my wired lapel mic with these). Sometimes for really long days, when the batteries get low I put 1 earbud to charge for a few minutes then swap. Then I can have both fully charged again.
What is a Sweat-Resistant Headphone?
If you’re looking for something you can wear during workouts the FP8 earbuds have you covered because they’re water and sweat resistant.
Sweat resistant headphones are great for people who move around a lot and don’t want to worry about sweat damaging their headphones. A good set of sweat-resistant headphones can handle rain, sweat, water splashes and dirt. You can drop them in the water or get caught in the downpour without having to worry about changing your music.
And if you do manage to mess up your earphones, don't worry! Sweat-resistant headphones are easy to clean with soap and water (check your user manual first).
Water resistance is essential for athletes; it means the product won’t be damaged if it gets wet (i.e., in the shower or rain) though it cannot be submerged underwater for long periods of time.
So, if you mainly run outside you don’t have to worry about getting caught in a downpour.
Personally, I love the LG Tone Free FP8 earbuds. I wear them for livestreams, webconferences, phone calls, working out, and watching TV when my baby nephew is sleeping. It easily connects to my phone, PC, and TV so I can seamlessly transition between devices and keep the work, TV, or dance session going.
