Full Face w/Deep Gold Smokey Eye Avon Mono Pop Eyeshadow #GRWM

Today I'm sharing another full face makeup video!

For a fun get ready with me from start to finish I’ll show you how I use some of my favorite Avon makeup products to create a look for all day wear.

Starting (as always) with Avon Magix Prime Face Perfector formerly known as Avon Magix I prime my face to help tone down shine & give my makeup something to stick to. While it’s not a makeup product that you can actually see because it blends in to be transparent I definitely see the difference in my pores and the oiliness of my skin as the day goes by.  I always moisturize & treat my skin prior to applying makeup and I feel like Magix is that step in between that straddles the world of skin care and makeup. It contains rose extract that helps tighten pores, fleece flower for added moisture, and another layer of SPF protection on top of my day cream which also always has SPF.

After primer comes the makeup you see.

Today I'm going with a more sheer coverage look but I still want to even out my skin tone, scars and hyperpigmentation a little. I start with Avon True Color concealer which is a light to medium coverage concealer and feels very lightweight. It’s become my go to these days. The little applicator inside makes application easy and I can better control how much I use when I don’t want full coverage.

I follow that with Avon Magix Tint Brightening Tinted Moisturizer, another lightweight formula for foundation, and Avon Magix Wand a medium coverage stick foundation. Magix Wand is great for color correcting, additional targeted coverage, or amping up the sheer coverage of Magix Tint. I find that I’ll often use magix tint for quick barely-there coverage then add Magix Wand over areas where I  need a bit more coverage to still get that every day sheer look without all the layers. Both really help with oil & shine without sacrificing the radiance or dewy glow.

I then set all that with Avon True Color Loose Powder. It’s currently discontinued & I haven’t heard about us releasing another loose powder to replace it but for now you can still get the Avon True Color Flawless Mattifying Pressed Powder.

I know there are a lot of people out there who dislike loose powder because it can be messy but I’ve developed a love hate relationship with it. I love how well & easy it is to set my makeup or pile on to catch eyeshadow fallout but it’s NOT for traveling everyday. For my purse I prefer the pressed powder but using a loose powder in the mornings just made things easier.

::sigh:: RIP True Color Loose Powder

Thankfully I stocked up so I patiently await its replacement.

After foundation the real color fun begins.

My eyebrow & blush routine is almost always the same. I’ve gotten used to occasionally living without any other makeup but brows are a must. It’s something seemingly small that adds quite a bit of structure & definition to my face. Eyeliner would have to be next in my list of daily must haves.

Eyeshadow is where I get to play & have fun with color. In this look I created a deep gold smokey eye using the new Avon Mono Pop Eyeshadow Palette. As I mentioned before it’s a part of the new Avon collaboration with The Face Shop. #AvonxFaceshop. I just used one of the Avon Beauty Classics Eyeshadow Palettes, Volume II in ”She Dreams of Silver” to brighten up the inner corners of my eyes to offset some of the darker tones of the golds. It was a day look after all. But one that would easily transition into an evening look without adding anything.

For lips I just moisturized with Avon Crave lip Gloss. It smells sooooo gooood! I love them! I always feel a little mood boost when I use them - they make me smile.  And used Avon 2-in-1 lip tattoo for a little kiss of color. Remember that even though the name says tattoo you don't have to apply it 1st or ink it on as dark as a tattoo. I like playing with the colors by making them darker or lighter depending on my mood. When I apply it over gloss there’s a little less color going on and it gives a transparent tinted gloss look. But, I've also added a light layer 1st then followed with lip gloss for a deeper transparent look. It’s makeup. Play with it. Have fun. There's no wrong way to use it.

So, that's my makeup look for the day!
