Coffee Rose Double Cut Crease Tutorial

I know it's been a really really long time since my last makeup tutorial video. It was in a post I did over a a year ago called Full Face Makeup-Neutrals and another post called Full Face Makeup Routine with Bdellium Brushes. I've gotten a few asks for more but haven't gotten around to one until now. Sorry it's taken so long and I hope I will have more in the short future. The most exciting parts about this look

for me is not only that it's actually not as complicated as I thought it would be but that I only used 1 palette and only 3 brushes!

This video is for a cut crease tutorial. It's your's as much as my own because, surprise! This is the first
time I'm doing this! After seeing this look on Instagram I became intrigued and started watching video tutorials. I decided to give it a try for myself and thought 'Why not share the experience?'

To recreate this look I grabbed the tools I already had including my favorite product of late, featured in my the post Avon For the Love Of Makeup Artist Palette. I had all the colors I needed! sweet!!

So, after practicing on one eye I decided to make a video to show you how I got the look. I listed all the colors from the palette as well as the other Avon products I used below. Of course you know by now that it's all Avon, all the time, lol.

You'll also notice in the video that I only used 3 brushes. Watching videos where the blogger goes through 50 brushes to get 1 look exasperates me. Not to mention that all the brushes have random numbers. Lol. I don't know maybe its a beauty blogger thing. I'm sorry, 3 brushes worked just fine for me as I generally work from light colors to dark colors. I usually clean my brushes in between washes with the Avon Makeup Remover Wipes so if I wanted to move from a dark color back to a light color I would just clean the brush.

That being said I have added the Avon Pro Eyeliner Brush to my wishlist because a smaller brush would help for small areas where precision is required.

I used the Avon Pro Cream Eyeshadow Brush even though I was using powder eyeshadows because the brush is thinner and allowed me to draw more precise lines. For areas were precision wasn't needed I used the usual Avon Pro Eye Shadow Brush. For the concealer I used a mark. concealer brush from my travel bag because I couldn't find my pro brush but I usually use my Avon Pro Concealer Brush to conceal small areas.

Check out the video below and be sure to let me know what you think.
