Blue Suede Shoes

Nobody really needs a pair of blue suede shoes but thanks to Elvis Presley there's a part of us that wants them.

The other day I tried on these mark. By Any Stretch Pumps and loved them! I saw them in the brochure

and didn't think much of them. To be honest the thought of suede scared me. You see, there's a monster in my closet that chews up and destroys my shoes regardless of whether they're heals or flats, pricey or cost effective. You name it I ... ahem ... the monster... chews it up and spits it out.

Okay fine. No monster. Just my super destructive self. So, suede is one of those materials that require delicacy and special attention which aren't traits that I would use to describe my shoe habits. Hence I saw cute shoes in the Avon brochure, read "suede", and kept it moving.

One of my customers on the other had was much more brave and ordered them. She's a size 8. The shoes fit small on her so she returned them to me. Of course now that they were back in my hands, and I saw them up close I could see that they looked better in person than in the catalog. I'm a size 7 1/2 so I tried 1 on to see how it fit.

Purely for customer research you see. So I could describe the feel of it to any other interested customer... Not buying that story either?

Well, they're shoes. That's just what you do with shoes.

Anyway, they fit really well. Even though the heels were skinny and high (3") I felt comfortable walking in them. I took this as a sign that they were really intended for me and now I'm contemplating whether or not to keep them.
