Gift Ideas For Geeky Girls
It's shopping list time! Here are some of my favorites items for a selection of gift ideas for that geeky girl in your life. The prices vary to suit different budgets, from $10 all the way up to $1,000+ for the Philip Plein Bejewelled Batman Shoulder Bag, but as always consider combining a few smaller
gifts if necessary. The list includes a little of each of all my favorite fandoms. Can you spot them all?
There's Marvel Comics Avengers & Agents of Shield, Doctor Who, DC Comics Batman & Wonder Woman, Dr. Seus, Firefly/ Serenity, Star Trek (Yes, I'm admitting that publicly. No I do not speak Klingon), Star Wars (NOT to be confused with Star Trek!! Do not test my patience.), The Big Bang Theory, Harry Potter and a few cute "sciency" pieces.
The item I'm most excited about is the Avon Living Deathstar Planetarium because I've always secretly wanted a giant Deathstar for my home. Unfortunately I have no space to put that so a more appropriately sized Deathstar with a planetarium hidden inside makes it so much cooler! Ahem. Sorry. I mean justifiably functional for both decorative & entertainment purposes. The planetarium displays both the Star Wars Galaxy and the real one.
The next item that caught my eye as being something very unique is the Modcloth All Eyes on Unique A-Line Dress in Science. I've never purchased anything from Modcloth, so those of you who have please share your experience with product quality. I've just never seen anything like it but I would totally wear it! And not just to Comic Con either. I think I'll wait for a sale though.
